Our Outlook:
A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words
There is no argument, from the day we are born we communicate with pictures. Once upon a time we watched a screen on the wall as our projected picture illuminated our otherwise dark environment. Over the last 100 years we have passed through the industrial revolution and leapt into the technological age. And yet, we still watch a screen on the wall.
Fascinated with the demand for visual communication, Redgum has embraced technology and is producing, directing or writing meaningful stories created by a general lust for visual entertainment.
Ssince the beginning of the 21st century, Redgum has produced five major documentaries. One of the latest, "From the Inside Out" was telecast in 2003 both in Australia and in the USA (Cable). Another, Barefoot Bullfighters was telecast on the ABC late in 2005. Following international sale Robert Lovett's CHINA, an adventure travelogue with world renown artist, Robert Lovett and his journey through rural China will be seen across New Zealand in 2007.
