We began in the dark ages when films were entertaining and television was worth watching, when programmes were made by sticking bits of celluloid together with sticky tape and social documentaries changed our views on life. You need to know this because storytelling (which is what we do) is based on archetypal experience - and we go back that far!
To get here we've had to cope with changing trends, cultural shifts and mind boggling technology, all of which have changed the way we now tell stories. It doesn't matter whether you want to sell, demonstrate, learn or be entertained, you still have to tell stories. What matters is the way you tell 'em - and that's what we're good at.
Established in 1984, Redgum provides a quality turn key television or video solution for every budget. The Demolition - Hornibrook Bridge - Redcliffe Queensland
The Hornibrook Bridge is the longest viaduct bridge in the southern hemisphere. Built in the 1930's to alleviate unemployment during the great depression the bridge became a local icon as did its builder, M.R.Hornibrook. Replaced by two three lane concrete structures the old Hornibrook Bridge is now being demolished. Redgum Television Productions will later this year film a documentary covering the demolition and disposal of millions of super feet of prime Australian timber. The building of the bridge was an historic event as is its destruction.
