One of the unique services offered by Redgum is the mentoring role for new and inexperienced videographers. Conducted on a one to one basis individuals entering the profession can draw on over thirty years experience of television and corporate production. Primarily this service is focussed on documentary production including sales and distribution.
Video convergence
An old term with recent values. As new technologies develop their application becomes closer until such time as they converge. This is most evident with computer and video at a corporate and consumer level. Tools have been developed that perform many tasks. The remote control can turn on the television and shut the garage door whilst a PC can perform the same task. Focussed primarily on the immerging independent filmmaker and based on years of experience Redgum provides a service that assists with the planning and purchase of appropriate hardware and software for small to medium enterprises. Buying technology can be a risky business and relies on good thorough research and industry knowledge. Redgum has developed and built a number of production studios in both the international and domestic arena's and specialises in basic PC/Video integration.
